Gina Caison will present the keynote lecture “Grounded in the Gulf South: Indigenous Sovereignty Beyond American Regions” on Friday at the 15th annual Auburn University Montgomery Southern Studies conference.

Conference participants will be able to enjoy a variety of peer-reviewed panels over the course of two days on topics spanning the fields of political science, literature, history, anthropology, English, philosophy, history, religious studies, American studies, women and gender studies, sociology, criminal justice, languages, education, art, art history, and music.
